Fabric & Care Guide
A little care keeps the shape, softness and colour like new. Follow these simple steps.
Machine wash cold
Gentle cycle at 30°C or below. Hand-wash for best results.
Do not bleach
Skip harsh bleach and strong detergents to protect the fabric.
Dry in shade
Line dry away from direct sun to keep colours from fading.
Do not tumble dry
High heat weakens elastic — always air dry flat or hung.
Wash with like colours
Group similar shades to avoid any colour transfer.
Do not iron the cups
Iron on low only if needed; avoid padding and prints.

Questions About This Product
Order the larger size. In Care bras are true to size, but if your underbust measurement falls between two bands, size up - a slightly loose band can be tightened at the hooks, a tight band can't be fixed. Use the Size Guide and Fit Finder on this page before you order. Available range: 30B-46E.
Your band does about 80% of the support, so it should sit level and horizontal across your back - not riding up. You should fit two fingers under the band comfortably. Straps shouldn't dig in, cups shouldn't gape at the top or spill at the sides.
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, close the hooks first so they don't snag, and never wring or machine-dry. Squeeze gently, reshape the cups, and dry flat in shade - direct sun and heat are what kill elastic.
Most people change around the end of the first trimester, when the ribcage widens and the band of a regular bra starts to feel tight. There's no fixed week - switch when your current band digs in or the cups feel full, usually between weeks 12 and 16.
Measure now and buy for now, on the loosest hook. Your ribcage expands through pregnancy and your cup size changes again after your milk comes in, so a bra bought at week 14 won't fit at week 36. Buying 2-3 at a time across the pregnancy costs less than one badly-timed bulk purchase.
A maternity bra is built for a changing ribcage and sensitive breasts during pregnancy. A nursing bra adds drop-down clips for feeding access. A nursing bra does both jobs, so most people buy nursing bras from the third trimester onwards and skip maternity-only styles.
